Here we come up again with some more yummy recipes for you and this time it is juicy peaches recipes to satisfy your taste buds. Peaches are rich with fiber, vitamin A, C, E and K, folate, iron, magnesium, protein, potassium, zinc, etc which helps us to keep health problems at bay. Like it lowers cholesterol, good for heart health, lowers risk of colorectal and breast cancer, controls diabetes, decreases risk of age related macular degeneration, good for eyes, lowers risk of mortality and weight, increases energy and good for skin and hair.

So here are some amazing peaches recipes to try this summer season.

Peach lemonade recipe

All you need

  • 4 cups each of water and ice
  • 2 cups chopped peaches
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • ¾ cup sugar or honey
  • 1 peach, pitted and cut into wedges

Let’s start

  • Take a saucepan and combine water, chopped peaches and sugar or honey and bring to boil over medium heat.
  • Now simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes and then let it cool for 15- 20 minutes.
  • Now take a blender and put the peach mixture into it and blend to make it smooth.
  • Refrigerate it for 3-4 hours, and then strain it through a sieve in a bowl.
  • Add lemon juice and ice. Pour into glasses and garnish with peach wedges. Enjoy cool!

Peach ginger ‘lassi’ recipe

All you need

  • 1 peach
  • ½ cup each of yogurt and water
  • ½ inch ginger
  • Few mint leave and ice cubes
  • For sweet ‘lassi’ add honey and for salty add salt and lemon or lime juice.

Let’s start

  • Take a blender and add all the ingredients into it, leaving ice cube and mint leaves.
  • Blend to make it smooth and then pour into glasses. Add ice cubes and garnish with mint leaves.

Peach ice cream recipe

All you need

  • 3 cups peaches, sliced and peeled
  • 1 cup half and half, mixture of low fat milk and cream
  • ½ cup each of whole milk and brown sugar (powdered)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Let’s start

  • Take a blender and add peaches into it and blend to make a smooth paste.
  • Now add the remaining mixture, mix well. Then pour the mixture into an ice cream can freezer and freeze according to instructions.
  • Then put into a freezer safe container and cover, freeze for 2-3 hour and enjoy after wards.

Peach frozen yogurt recipe

All you need

  • 5-6 medium peaches, peeled and diced
  • 1 ½ cup low fat yogurt or Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup each brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

You can also use vanilla sugar instead of brown sugar and vanilla extract

Let’s start

  • Take a small pan and add diced peaches and sugar, cook for 15-20 minutes over medium heat and then set aside to cool.
  • Now take a large bowl and whisk yogurts and then add vanilla extract, if not using vanilla sugar.
  • Transfer yogurt mix to ice cream maker and mix as per instructions. Then add peaches mixture and continue for more 5- 10 minutes.
  • Take a scoop out and enjoy, you can also store it in freezer upto 1 week.

Baked peaches recipe

All you need

  • 1-2 peaches cut into halves
  • 2-4 teaspoon brown sugar or honey
  • 1 teaspoon low fat unsalted butter
  • Ground cinnamon to sprinkle

Let’s start

  • Take a baking dish and place halve peaches and in the hollow space put little butter in each halves, brown sugar or honey and sprinkle cinnamon.
  • Now bake at 375 degree or until it become tinder for 30 minutes.
  • Serve warm with coffee, low fat cream or vanilla ice cream.

You can also add nuts trail in the hollow before baking to give nutty and crunchy taste, roasted almond flakes or any other herb like thyme or rosemary instead of cinnamon to add flavours.
